How are things with you and Joyce, Ron? We never did get to speak over the Xmas holidays.... I am well into retirement how, although it doesn't seem so as I'm involved with projects for at least half
a dozen organizations, including major ones at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts. The telephone number is 902-423-6040.
Cheers,
gpb

You brought the roof down conducting the orchestra in Jesuit's production of Kiss Me Kate - every single night. It was Too Darn Hot! And you brought the best out of the amazing vocal performances.
Bravo!

Hi Ron,
Just doing a little surfing..looking up old cronies from the past and I came across
many references to you on Google
search. It's good to see you're still very busy and involved as a performer, director and conductor. I too am still working although things have slowed down quite a bit. I'm still teaching at the U.
of Guelph where I'm in my 20th year. I'm also a senior citizen and on Canada and Old Age pensions. I really can't afford to retire but things are going
very well. If I hear back from you via email we can keep in touch.
Bye for now, Glyn.

Hi, Ron - I was randomly Googling and found your homepage! Loved the photos - and I plan to listen to the Barbary Banjo recordings when I get home (work computer has no speakers...) Hope you are
well.

Ron:
I figured you needed at least one Thirteener in your guestbook. Read your missive to Bradley with great interest and hope that one day we'll be able to sing together in the Crescent.
Your site is grand.

Hi Ron,
Just Googled your name -- lost track of where you were and was thinking about you today.
I hope you and Joyce are well(did I remember your lovely spouse's name correctly -- old age, you know...)You also had a boy and girl, I believe. Bryce and Michelle???? Please forgive me if I'm
wrong.
Antigonish seems like a distant memory, doesn't it? Yet we were, I think, fairly central in the community life during our time there. I think back fondly of our work with the "Antonish Singers to
Concert Choir" transition. Last I checked, it's still going (Concert Choir, I mean).
Write sometime -- I'm always interested to hear from you.
Best, Doug
P.S. BTW Where is Bruce these days?

Just googling around this p.m. looking to find out what happened to old friends. I only met you a couple of times but was an admirer. I was pals with your little brother and sister. We hung out
around the mountain together--hiking, singing, riding, swimming, playing tennis, etc. Wondering what became of him? Last time I saw him was in Sedona in the early 70s. He was trying to talk me into
playing around in a wolves' den. I was too scared and took off back to Denver.

Mr. B,
Long time, no talk! I was rearranging the links on my site and realized it had been quite some time since I last visited yours! How have you been? I've just been working my butt off in Cincinnati
(it's much cooler than Louisiana...and I don't know how I feel about that!) I do hope all is well with you in Looosiana, and I hope to see you sooner than soon! Adios!
Love,
Chelsea Barker

Hi Ron...Glad to see things are going so well for you.
I was cleaning up some stuff and found an old membership roster for the Uppper Canada Boychoir....and googled you.
Ted is at Western studying politics and talking about doing an M.A. in public policy...Emma has been working with me for the past 4 years or so. She and her boyfriend have just bought a house in
Toronto. Yikes!!!
Doreen and I are just trying to avoid getting old.

Hey Ron - Found your website and contact information so I was able to send you an email about my friends Jason & Michelle Detwiler - opera singers. If you could at least speak with Jason and/or
Michelle, it would be great as they are expanding their careers.
Thanks & take care -

sight of my grades and rejects me regardless of my audition. cant wait to work with you this summer. take care! Tschuss!

Carolyn is in Slidell at Northshore as of 11/28/05. I will be back to teach by January 17th. We were very excited to find out that you will be teaching voice lessons on Saturdays. We are devastated
by the news of what is happening at NOCCA and to you and the other teachers.
I have forwarded your email to Carolyn. I'm sure you will be hearing from her soon.
Sincerely, Jana Guido

Mr. B,
We are NOT getting any information about what is happening. The website has been down at nocca.com for several days. I went by there about a week ago and it looked OK from the outside. Have you heard
anything? It nearly broke my heart to put Tessa on a plane and send her back to Houston after her first visit home (yesterday). Please tell me some good news - at least that people are trying to get
things going again.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey Mr. B!
Love the new website.
I'm going to come by NOCCA next week and say goodbye before i head off to Michigan. I'm excited! Keep in touch about the spring thing.
Michelle Bermingham - July 15, 2005
Great website and very impressive bio! You are providing a wonderful opportunity for vocal students in New Orleans to lean from an accomplished artist.
Bryce Bermingham - 8/15/2005
Nice web site Dad. It looks great - did you do it yourself? By the way, I graduated both my theatre degrees with Honors and Karen feels that she should be mentioned in my bio ..... as wife!?!
I think it's great for you to start giving private coachings. About time I say. I love the site.
Brian Falgoust - July 4, 2005
Mr. B, you are amazing!
I'm really upset that I couldn't do NOCCA MT this year, but I am really hoping to next school year. Of course I will be back next summer, too.
Hope to see you soon!
PS-Great site.
Dr. Ron Bermingham, you were and will be an amazing teacher for all who are fortunate enough to work with you, I am honored to have studied with you, and I hope that our paths cross again in life,
maybe I will even be honored by a chance to teach along side you. You have and will affect so many lives, but it will always be in a positive way, thank you for making me a better performer, and even
more, a better person.
